Emphasis is given to change and reinvention of the organization. The course will review the organizational cycle and organizational decline illustrations and the use in the change process and reinventing of the organization; resistance to change will be explored and advocates of change will be reviewed. Driving forces toward acceptance of a change program will be further explored; emphasis will be placed on the different types of restraining forces blocking implementation of change programs; strategies will be identified that lessen resistance.
